Sacramento365 is a cool website for anyone wanting to see what kind of events are going on in town... it's easily broken down depending on what kind of events you are interested in (ie family, sports, nightlife...) Thanks to the new re-design, it's cleaned up to a more simple, attractive layout. It's a great refresh!
Kings Look to Lottery - How do you like Wesley Johnson?
The Kings have the 3rd worst record in the NBA, which means they have a 15% chance to secure the rights to the #1 pick. This year's draft looks pretty deep, though there's no "LeBrons" in the draft. John Wall and Evan Turner look to be picked #1 or #2, Derrick Favors and DeMarcus Cousins rounds it out. Curious how they'll do? ESPN has a mock NBA Draft app to "forecast" who wins (each load is random). The likely scenario - the Kings draft #5 (Wesley Johnson).
Sacramento will soon be home to the world's largest floating Zeppelin, which can be seen in other California markets. It will debut today around 2:30 and will be floating around the Sacramento area. When available, tours will be available for $199 a person. Track it here: http://airshipventures.com/tracking.php
Tyreke Evans is in pretty good company. He joined LeBron James, Michael Jordan, and Oscar Robertson as the only rookies to record 20 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds a game. Look for #RekeROY to dominate the Rookie of the Year category this year as well!
Sacramento continues its love for kitty cats, and named the new UFL team the Sacramento Mountain Lions to join the RiverCats. There's no details on the colors of the logo, though the UFL has 4 teams with a white/blue/black theme and Hornet Stadium is heavy on green and gold. * Discuss in the forums
It's April, which means baseball is just around the corner! The RiverCats have announced their promotional schedule... our favorites: Free Money Night (June 16), Magic 8-Ball Night (August 2), and classic toy night (August 18), and of course Fan Appreciation Night (Sep 2) is always popular as they give out all the doo-da's left over from the year.

Sacramento is well-known for a variety of unique burger restaurants, and a newbie to Sactown decided to visit all of them, from Squeeze Inn to Habit Burger. Here's the short list of the best places to eat a fine burger in Sacramento:
7. Squeeze Inn 6. Jim Dennys 5. Jamie's 4. The habit 3. Nation Wide Freezer Meats 2. Redrum Burger (aka Murder Burger) 1. Suzie Burger!
Having been to most of these, I would say this is spot on Suzie Burger is awesome. I suggest they take over the Orangevale Orbit as their next location.
The News & Review has a great write-up on "You Know You're a Sacramentan When..." Our favorites: #24 - you think SoCal is a blacktopped, flora-less void (I thought that was just me!), #41 - you know the Denio's song by heart (don't deny it, now you are thinking it)... * Discuss in the forums
Conan O'Brien fans will be happy to hear that the redheaded one is going on a national tour, with a stop in Sacramento on May 6 at Memorial Auditorium. Tickets are $35, $55, and $75 and can be found on http://teamcoco.com.
